My new favourite hat!
Today was absolutely fantastical! Thanks to my lovely Mastercard I was allowed to go and watch a Leafs training. I found the Mastercard Centre then couldn’t get in at the front door was locked so I just sat outside thinking it would open soon as I got there quite early. Nothing happened so decided to go exploring and found the back door so I eventually got in. Watching the boys train was great, and was interesting to see what they actually do. Tried to take lots of photos, some are OK but my camera isn’t the best and doesn’t like zooming. When all the boys left the ice I followed the other Leafonators outside and decided I would wait to hopefully see some of my boys close up. And oh how amazing it was! Franson was the first to come out and I was so excited and had no idea how I was meant to act so kinda just waved my hat around in front of him. When a few more of the guys came out I realised I could actually still speak and managed to say hello to a few. My camera was dying and I was waiting for the J Loops to get a photo so only got two photos. Still can’t really believe I met some of my Leaf boys today! Unfortunately Lupul didn’t come out - got his car driven to him by the security so he didn’t have to see any of us. The other people there waiting did say that normally he is very good and friendly to everyone. Phaneuf, Kessels, Schenner, Bozie, Colby & Steckels also got their cars delivered, so need to try again for them (I definitely will)! So on my hat we have Franson, Gusto, Reimer, Gunnars, Joey, Lombardi Bacardi, Kulemin, Gardiner, Frattin & Grabo. A very nice hat indeed. Realised today I am quite a big fan of both the goalies and my little girl crush on Gusto is growing. I like watching them when the puck is at the other end of the ice to see how they entertain themselves. Got a photo with both the goalie boys, both with a massive stupid grin on my face. As you would expect, they all have very nice cars, my favourite is Lombardi’s - an Audi of course. And he is from Montreal so he has lots of bonus points. And Joey just looked woah in his checkered shirt and his giant truck.
The only bad thing about today is now I want a black training jersey and want to go to see them play again - both which require money that I do not have. My magical plan is to hopefully have enough money to go to their last home game against Tampa as it is two days before my birthday and think that is a very good birthday present to myself.
Pretty damn good day in T City.
